This photo is better, no make-up or fake tan. She’s very beautiful, I think she looks pan-Western European, like many Portuguese.

I’ve been doing some more research on Nelly’s ancestry, and for Ponta Garça, the latest records they have is in 1905, and since Nelly’s grandparents were both born in the 1910s, there’s no records of her grandparents, but I did find some other people who what the same last names as Nelly’s grandparents. I’ve just browsed through the marriage records between 1875-1905 and here’s what I’ve found that might be Nelly’s ancestors or relatives:

    Araújo Neto:
José d’Araújo Neto (born about 1873 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, South America to Jacintho d’Araújo Neto and Rosa Luiza) and Marianna Augusta de Medeiros (born about 1876 in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal to Francisco Marianno de Medeiros and Maria da Conceição) were both married on 8 Feb 1897 in Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal.

Manuel Araújo Neto (born about 1854 in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal to Francisco Araújo Neto and Maria Jacintha) and Anna de Mattos (born about 1859 in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal to José Furtado Monteiro and Maria de Jesus Mattos) were both married on 28 Nov 1883 in Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal.

    Matos Furtado:
I couldn’t find “Matos Furtado” but I did find “Matos” and “Furtado” separately.

    Paixão Costa:
José de Pimentel Calauro (born about 1861 in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal to António de Pimentel Calauro and Claudina Rosa) and Violanta da Paixão de Jesus (born about 1844 in São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal to unknown parents) were both married on 17 Oct 1882 in Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Ponta Garça, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal.

    Thank you,

Did you know that Urdu is indo-european language? It is because iranian people migrated to India and Pakista long time ago. There is a lot of blonde, blue eyed people in Iran, Pakistan. and north of India because of that.
