Mitski’s grandfather Frederick was born in Stoneham, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Mitski’s great-grandfather Frederick was the son of Charles Henry Laycock, whose parents were English, and of Florence E. Page. Adeline was the daughter of Davis Willard Newcomb and Marie Lizette Pierce.
