Miri Ben-Ari is an Israeli and American violinist. Her name is pronounced מירי בן-ארי. She is a Grammy winner. She created her own unique sound by a fusion of classical style with jazz, R&B, and hip hop, and has been recognized as a musical pioneer.

She is of Polish Jewish and Russian Jewish descent. Around her twenties, she moved from Israel to the U.S. She lives in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Miri’s paternal grandparents were from Poland. They were the only ones to survive the Holocaust among their close family.
