Mickey Hargitay was a Hungarian-American actor and acrobat. He was Mr. Universe 1955.
He was born in Budapest, Hungary, the son of Mária (Róth Fischer) and Ferenc Hargitai. He moved to the United States in 1947. Mickey was married to Ellen Siano, until his death. He had a daughter with his former wife, acrobat Mary Birge; and three children, including actress Mariska Hargitay, with his former wife, actress, nightclub entertainer, and singer Jayne Mansfield.
