Michael Cole is an American wrestling commentator and journalist. He is known for his work in WWE. He has also been credited as Sir Michael Cole.

Michael is the son of Linda and Thomas Coulthard. He is married to Yolanda, with whom he has two children.

Michael’s paternal grandfather was Peter F. Coulthard (the son of Thomas Coulthard and Margaret Fitzsimmons). Peter was born in Pennsylvania, to parents from England. Margaret was born in County Durham, the daughter of Irish parents, Peter Fitzsimmons and Ann Joyce, who was from Ballina, Kilmoremoy, Mayo.
