In my family my mom is Mexican and my dad’s Italian, so I really wish that both my grandparents on my mom’s side were still alive to kind of see me doing this. […] I feel the Latinas and Latinos are kind of taking over. It doesn’t really matter what ethnicity you are, but I love that I’m bringing light to not only my Mexican side but also my Italian side.

Is her father Fredric Barry Nelson really “Italian”?
Out of curiosity, where are you getting the name “Fredric” from? In any case, if this man is connected to her, maybe he changed his last name, or this person is a stepfather.
On Google
Eva’s paternal grandparents’ surnames were Nelson and Herrick. If her father is of Italian descent it’s probably not his only ethnicity.
Thank you. It seems barely having no Italian ancestry at all then.
Just seen the update right now.
So “my dad’s Italian” equals having only 1/8 Italian ancestry according to American customs…
“Bianchi” is usually ranked as the 3rd most common Italian surname (after Rossi and Russo) and means “white”.
I do wish you guys would stop the bashing and snide little comments.
No, not even here would we consider someone with a great-grandmother who was half of something to be a part of that group, anymore.
