MC Serch is an American rapper, music producer, and radio and television personality. He was a member of hip-hop group 3rd Bass, along with Pete Nice and DJ Richie Rich. He has also hosted the series Ego Trip’s The White Rapper Show and Ego Trip’s Miss Rap Supreme. He executive produced Nas’ debut album Illmatic, which is considered one of the best hip-hop albums of all time.

MC Serch is the son of Rosalind and Mervyn Berrin, who were born in New York City. MC Serch is married to Chantel, with whom he has two children. Chantel is of African-American and Puerto Rican descent. Their daughter, Mia, is a singer and musician who performs under the name Pom Pom Squad.

MC Serch’s paternal grandfather was named Meyer Brzoza/Berrin (the son of Moishe/Morris Brzoza/Berrin and Yetta/Ethel). Meyer was born in Poland, the son of a Polish Jewish father and a Ukrainian Jewish mother.
