Mauricio Ochmann is an American-born Mexican actor.
He was adopted by painter María Siordia, by María’s former husband Guillermo Sánchez, and then by María’s second husband, Thomas Ochmann, who is German. Mauricio talks about his biological parents here. He states that his biological father is Spanish and his biological mother is American. His mother is described as having had a summer relationship in Spain, at fifteen years old, resulting in his conception.
He was raised partly in Mexico, where he established his acting career.
Mauricio has a daughter with his former wife, architect María José del Valle, and a daughter with his former wife, actress Aislinn Derbez. Aislinn is the daughter of actor and comedian Eugenio Derbez.
