His father, Justin Ward, is an American director, producer, and filmmaker. His mother, Laura Di Nardo, is Italian. He was raised partly on Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.

Mateus’ paternal grandfather is James Ward (the son of William Elmer Ward and Lucille Christenson). William was the son of William Harrison Ward and Alliezone Fletcher. Lucille was the daughter of Arthur Christenson and Etna Agneta Tapager.

Mateus’ paternal grandmother is Teresa Ann Brown (the daughter of Albert Jackson Brown and Nellie Rhe Hogue). Teresa was born in California. Albert was the son of Albert J. Brown and Beulah Mae Beaty. Nellie was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Hogue and Lunar Rodgers.

    Some of these people shouldn’t even be on here. He’s hardly a celebrity, I’ve never even heard of him. Another one is Chris Brown’s ex, that Blasian girl with the odd name. Don’t see how screwing a celeb makes you a celeb, but okay….
