Mark Feuerstein is an American actor, writer, producer, and director.

He was raised Jewish, and celebrated his Bar Mitzvah in an Orthodox Sinagogue. His family is from Odessa and Galicia, now Ukraine. His parents are pictured here. Mark is married to television writer Dana Klein, with whom he has three children. Dana is also Jewish.

Mark’s paternal grandfather was Emil Feuerstein (the son of Aryeh Leib Feuerstein and Rivka Kivec). Emil was born in Galicia, to Polish Jewish parents.

Mark’s paternal grandmother was Rae Diamond (the daughter of Yitzak/Isaac Diamond and Chaya/Ada Sobel Hancherow). Rae was born in New Yorkk, to Jewish parents from Odessa. Chaya was the daughter of Rachmiel Hancherow and Riwka Barsky.

Mark’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Raphael.
