Frank was the son of Samuel William Moore and Amy Jane Vanderburg, who was born in Meaford, Grey, Ontario, Canada. Aquinetta was the daughter of James Bernard Leary and Ella Helen Brady, who were the children of Irish immigrants, with Ella’s father being from County Cavan.

Marisa’s maternal grandfather was Harvey Ernest Petersen (the son of Harry Christian Petersen and Emily Ella Seland). Harvey was born in Minnesota. Harry was the son of Christian Petersen, who was born either in Denmark or Minnesota, and of Anna Clara Andersen, who was born in Rochester, Minnesota, to Danish parents, from Svendborg. Emily was born in Minneapolis, to Norwegian parents, Theodore Thompsen, from Skailand, and Thonette Tonneson, from Lavold.

Marisa’s maternal grandmother was LaVerne Eleanor Danielson (the daughter of Frederick A. Danielson and Christine J. Pearson). LaVerne was born in Minnesota, the daughter of Swedish parents.
