There is nothing “possibly” about this face and this hair. He is clearly of partial African descent. I wouldn’t be surprised if his father was just plain African American.

I don’t think bearboy was confused about his race, but his ethnicity. I think the last name threw him off. From what I can tell, it looks to be a Louisiana Creole name.

I don’t think he was confused, either. But ‘possibly’ is definitely the wrong word here. Even without the confirmation it should have at least read ‘likely.’ The guy has significant African American ancestry just eyeballing him.
