Marc Singer is a Canadian-born American actor. He is known for his roles in The Beastmaster, V, and Dallas franchises.

He is the son of Leslie, a concert pianist, and Jacques Singer (born Jakob Singer), a virtuoso violinist, symphony orchestra conductor, and music educator. His father was born in Przemyśl, Poland, to a Jewish family; he moved to the U.S. in 1920, settling in Jersey City, New Jersey, with his family. His mother has English, Welsh, Irish, Scottish, and distant German, ancestry. It is likely that she converted to Judaism. Marc was raised Jewish. Among Marc’s siblings is actress and cello player Lori Singer. He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, U.S.

Marc was married to actress Haunani Minn, until her death, with whom he has a daughter.

Marc’s paternal grandfather was named Meyer/Mark Eli Singer (the son of Elias Singer).

Marc’s paternal grandmother was named Rachella Rose Bach.
