Lucas Neff is an American actor. He is known for his roles on the series Raising Hope, Second Act, and Monsters at Work.

Lucas is the son of director and playwright Meade Palidofsky and lawyer and novelist Alan Neff.

Lucas’ paternal grandfather was Walter S. Neff (the son of Joseph Neff and Hetty Krasus/Krasne). Walter was born in Pennsylvania, to Russian Jewish parents.

Lucas’ paternal grandmother was Mary Himoff/Herinoff (the daughter of Avram “Abraham” Chaimovich Himoff/Herinoff and Olga Guda Bayanovna Rabinova). Mary was a Russian Jewish immigrant. Avram was born in Kilia, Odessa, Russia, now Ukraine. Olga was from Yekaterinoslav, now Dnipro, Ukraine.

Lucas’ maternal grandfather was Joseph James Palid (the son of Joseph “Joe” Paledofsky/Palidofsky and Monica Norka/Norkowicz). Lucas’ grandfather Joseph was born in Pennsylvania, to Polish parents.

Lucas’ maternal grandmother was Barbara Ruth Meade (the daughter of William J. Meade/Mead and Genevieve I. McQuillan). Barbara was born in Michigan. William was born in Michigan, the son of Andrew H. Meade and Margaret Lynch, who was Irish. Genevieve was born in Michigan, the daughter of James McQuillan, whose parents were Irish, and of Margaret E. McCann, whose parents were also Irish.

    The maternal grandparents are clearly listed as having Polish ancestry, unless they were Jewish, too

    And, since we know which side of the family the ancestries are from, it should be split into father and mother. The mother sounds like she’s half Irish and half Polish.
