Levon Hawke is an American model and actor. His roles include the films Wildcat (2023), Blink Twice, and The Thicket, and television’s The Crowded Room.

He is the son of actress and model Uma Thurman and actor and filmmaker Ethan Hawke. His sister is actress and model Maya Hawke.

Levon’s paternal grandfather is James Steven Hawke (the son of Frank Taylor Hawke and Betty Virginia Hartsock). James was born in Illinois. Frank was the son of Ronald M. Hawke and Edith S. Mosher. Betty was the daughter of Herbert Clark “Bert” Hartsock and Winifred/Winifrede E. Macy.

Levon’s paternal grandmother is Leslie Carole Green (the daughter of Howard Lemuel Green and Carole Rosalie Turner). Leslie was born in Tarrant County, Texas. Howard was a minor-league baseball commissioner, and served five terms in the Texas Legislature. He was the son of Thomas Lemuel Green and Della Hall. Levon’s great-grandmother Carole was the daughter of George Ross Turner and Annie Ruth Lane.

Levon’s maternal grandfather is Robert Alexander Farrar Thurman (the son of Beverly Reid Thurman, Jr. and Elizabeth Dean Farrar). Robert was born in New York. He is a professor of Tibetan Buddhism, at Columbia University, and was ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist monk. Beverly was the son of Beverly Reid Thurman, Sr. and Huella Gibson Bedford. Elizabeth was the daughter of Preston Cooke Farrar and Edna Violet Patterson.

Levon’s maternal grandmother is Nena Birgitte Caroline von Schlebrügge (the daughter of Friedrich Karl Johannes Baron von Schlebrügge and Brigit Olga Holmquist). Nena was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and is a model. Friedrich was German, from Oberglogau, Schlesien, and was the son of Friedrich Karl Bernhard Felix Heinrich Franz von Schlebrügge and Nanny Schultz. Levon’s great-grandmother Brigit was born in Trelleborg, Sweden. She was the inspiration for the 1930s statue Famntaget (“The Embrace”), by Axel Ebbe, of a nude woman, overlooking the harbor of Smygehuk, Sweden. Brigit was the daughter of Albert Emil Fredrik Holmquist, a Swedish man, and of Julie Tora Krüger/Krueger, who herself was born in Sweden, to a German father and a Danish mother.
