Her parents are from Santiago Cape Verde. Someone changed the Wikipedia bio. Every article on the Web says that her parents are from CV. People are trying to portray her as a black African whereas in reality, she is probably close to being half Portuguese too.

Some Cape Verdeans consider anyone of Cape Verdean heritage to be Cape Verdean even if they are several generations removed from their original heritage. This is especially so in the Cape Verdean Diaspora where immigrants display a fierce loyalty and pride to their country of national heritage.

She is Cape Verdean living in Angola. Like I said said, google her name with Cape verde and see what you get. Angola is a crooked, war torn country where the government controls the press.
