Kris Humphries is an American professional basketball player. He played for the Utah Jazz, the Toronto Raptors, the Dallas Mavericks, the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, the Boston Celtics, the Washington Wizards, the Phoenix Suns, and the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 6′9″.
Kris is the son of Debra Jean (Lemke) and William Duane Humphries. His father is African-American. Kris also stated on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that his father’s grandmother was of Irish descent. Kris’s mother, who is white, is of German descent.
Kris’s maternal grandfather was Donald John “Don” Lemke (the son of Herbert August Wilhelm Lemke and Wilhelmina A. “Minnie” Weise). Donald was born in Minnesota. Herbert was the son of August Ferdinand Franz Lemke and Minna Bertha Rosalina Radtke. Wilhelmina was the daughter of Paul George August Weise and Augusta Kuhlmann.
Kris’s maternal grandmother is Darlene A. “Donna” Willemsen (the daughter of Otto W. Willemsen and Magdalena A. “Lena” Feltmann). Darlene was born in Minnesota. Otto was born in Minnesota, the son of German parents, Jacob Hubert Willemsen/Willmsen/Wilmsen/Willmschen, from Vynen, Rhineland, and Hermina/Hermine “Minnie” Meinhart/Maynard. Magdalena was the daughter of Arnold Feltmann and Anna Heimkes.

Ok, people. Let me educate you. People are saying he is half black half white, What people dont realize is yes his father is black but he also has irish ancestry which is why is fair skined. Meaning when you mix that with more European blood, the person will mostly turn out looking more white than anything. I myself look more white even though im mixed. My mother is english and german and my father is Afro-Trinidadian Native American and French Cajun. Meaning he isnt full black either. Most bi racials have one straight black parent and one white. Which is why they turn out looking more black. Just somthing i wanted to let you all know

Why do people like to argue about someone’s ancestry? I always say “DNA don’t lie!” To say that Kris is the “black Taylor Lautner” sounds ridiculous at best since Kris doesn’t even look black to begin with! In fact, if you didn’t know his ancestry, you would never suspect.
It’s true that the more non-black ancestry a person has, the more non-black they will look—Common sense. People need to accept that when a person is made up of a certain racial mixture, that is who they are, and how they identify, is just that, how they Identify and you just need to respect it and ACCEPT IT.
If someone has issue with how another identifies, the problem is not with the person who chooses to identify themselves as how they truly feel, …the problem lies with the accuser—maybe you need to look within yourself and question why you have a problem with how another identifies….
