Kate Beckinsale is an English actress. She is known for her roles in the films Pearl Harbor, Van Helsing, Love & Friendship, and the Underworld series, among many others.
Kate is the daughter of actors Richard Beckinsale (Richard Arthur Beckinsale) and Judy Loe (Judith M. Loe). One of her paternal great-great-grandmothers, Ma Ninhe, was Burmese. Kate has a daughter, actress Lily Mo Sheen, with her former partner, actor Michael Sheen.
Kate’s paternal grandfather was Arthur John Beckinsale (the son of Arthur William Beckinsale and Mary Mitchell). Kate’s grandfather Arthur was born in Southwark, London, England. Kate’s great-grandfather Arthur was the son of Arthur John Beckinsale. She looks white as hell. I wouldn’t even have guessed she was part Asian.
She reminds me a bit of Rhona Mitra, but with ‘softer’ features. Her father was so handsome.
Mind = blown that she’s part asian. ‘Crimson tide’ pointed out that shes only 1/16 burmese not 1/8, is there any truth to this?

Why do people keep saying shes part asian though? 1 16th is nothing.. its like what, 6.25% percent?
Barely anything, its good its a proven fact and all, but its almost as bad as those people who claim to be PART Native american when they have like 1% ancestry.. lol , and I find it hardly likely she would have strong asian features as a child if she is only 6% asian.. her children are basically 2-4% asian at best. She is very beautiful though.
