Pierre. I believe you need the history lesson. By the 5th century A.D., Germanic tribes like the Normans, the Visigoths, Ostragoths, Vandals, etc. had completely moved into Italy setting up hundreds of kingdoms throughout the north and west. Naples and the surrounding towns were major points for invading Viking ships. By 476 a.d., Naples and most western towns were Scandinavian settlements. These were the last people to settle these areas until modern times. My ancestors are from Florence, Naples, and Sant Agata d’Goti, and on both sides, all have blond hair and/or light eyes.
