Jennette McCurdy is an American actress, writer, director, podcaster, and singer. She is known for her role on the sitcom iCarly, as well as on the shows Malcolm in the Middle, Zoey 101, Will & Grace, Strong Medicine, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Jennette was raised in the LDS (Mormon) church.
Jennette was raised by Debra and Mark McCurdy. However, Mark is not her biological father. Her biological father, a man she has identified as named Andrew, is a musician who plays the trombone, including on the soundtrack for Star Wars and other films.
One of Jennette’s maternal great-great-great-great-grandfathers, John Romero, was of Mexican ancestry, from New Mexico. His Mexican roots included descent from the Zuñi people, Pueblo peoples native to the Zuñi River valley.
Mark McCurdy is the son of Merle Eugene McCurdy and Faye/Fay Gertrude Lapayne/Payne. Merle was born in Minnesota, the son of Ernest R. McCurdy and Johanna Hersema/Heersema. Faye was the daughter of Dean LaVern Lapayne/Payne and Gertrude Ellen Cronin.
Jennette’s maternal grandfather was Roland Joseph LaBeaf (the son of Earl LaBeaf and Josephine Biscotto). Roland was born in California. Earl was the son of Joseph LaBeaf, whose parents were French-Canadian, and of Emma Sawyer. Josephine was born in California, the daughter of Italian parents, Giuseppe Biscotto and Marina Lauria, from Salina, one of the Aeolian Islands north of Sicily.
Jennette’s maternal grandmother is Beverly Tinder (the daughter of Gordon William Tinder and Villie Gertrude Newman). Beverly was born in Utah. Gordon was the son of William Henry Tinder and Ella Celica Romero, and was of English, Mexican, Swedish, Dutch, and distant Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Scottish, and Polish, ancestry. Villie was born in Utah, the daughter of Matts Johansson Newman/Nyman and Johanna/Hannah Carlson/Carlsson, who were from Finland, and were both of Swedish descent.

Savanna, what ethnicity was Andy Martin?
Well, Martin seems to commonly be a Scottish or French surname

From what I read on Martin’s biography his father and Jeannette’s maternal grandfather was David Martin, another musician. Is that accurate, @Follers?
I only skimmed the reddit post, is this confirmed by Jennette in the autobiography? Or is it just inferred by the posters based on context clues?
In her book, Chapter 84, she says her father’s name is Andrew and he has played trombone on the soundtracks for “Star Wars” and other films. She writes that she met him at one of his concerts after the show.
Hmm, I wonder if that warrants an addition to her profile.
According to this:

She descends from Zuñi people through her Mexican side.
Bernardina Naranjo Hurtado -> José Francisco Salas -> Paula Gertrudis Salas -> Pablo de Jesus Lucero -> Maria Lucero -> John Romero, Sr. -> John Romero (B. 1866) -> Ella Celica Romero
