Ice Spice is an American rapper. She is known for the songs “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” “In Ha Mood,” “Gangsta Boo,” “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2,” “Princess Diana,” “Karma,” and “Barbie World.”

She was born in The Bronx, and grew up in the borough’s Fordham Road neighborhood. Her father, Joseph Gaston, is African-American, and is an underground rapper. Ice Spice spoke of her heritage in a Twitter thread. She has also stated that she is of Nigerian descent.

    lol. She did one of those commercial DNA tests is what she likely meant by that. Most of us have Nigerian ancestry, but of course nothing we can usually trace, genealogically.
