This is wrong. Halsey’s father is half African American and half Irish American. Her paternal grandmother is a European American (White)
No Halseys dad is t half he is African American. He is black
Wrong. @Tlvierha is correct. Her father is biracial. Halsey is definitely less than a quarter black.
@italiano90
LMFAO, Her father looks 50-60 % African at least, Halsey most likely 25-30 % African, I know that’s hard for you to accept that someone heavily mixed with African like Halsey could look very white even Whitter than many Italians, Lol.
Metrics system…LOL.
Spot on.
@multiethnichick

So what was her Hungarian ancestors’ background? ethnic Hungarian?
Takács is an ethnic Hungarian surname. I will look more into it though
Idk if she’s really Hungarian at all… https://twitter.com/halsey/status/1271524914063790080?s=21
Apparently she’s https://twitter.com/halsey/status/1271527013166145536?s=21
She’s definitely Hungarian.
Oh, goodness. You’d think this far into commercial DNA tests people would already know – since it’s warned time and time and time again – that you’re not supposed to take the regions in these tests to literally without also backing it up with genealogical evidence.
My first AncestryDNA results showed me having 3% Caucasus, which is ridiculous. Subsequent updates never showed that region, again.
She is surely and significantly Hungarian.
