Gary Lightbody is a Northern Irish singer, songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist. He is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band Snow Patrol.

Gary is the son of Lynne (Wray) and Jack Lightbody. His father is from Rosemount, County Derry, Northern Ireland. Gary’s family is Protestant.
