Fred Norris is an American radio personality and actor. He is known for his work on The Howard Stern Show, which is hosted by Howard Stern, along with Robin Quivers, and executive produced by Gary Dell’Abate. He is the most-tenured staff member after Howard. As an actor, he has appeared in Howard’s film Private Parts, and in Cruel Intentions.

Fred is the son of Valija Smitnieks and Vairis/Henry Nukis, who were born in Latvia. They emigrated to the U.S. from Germany. He grew up in Manchester, Hartford, Connecticut. When Fred was thirteen years old, his mother remarried to Lewis Norris. Fred used the surname Norris professionally, but did not legally change his name until he was 38 years old, to Eric Fred Norris. Fred is married to Allison Furman, with whom he has one child.
