Place of Birth: Downers Grove, Illinois, U.S.

Date of Birth: February 17, 1971

Ethnicity: German, French-Canadian, Irish, English, Welsh, distant Dutch

Denise Richards is an American actress and model. She became known in the late 1990s, after a string of films that highlighted her sex appeal, including Starship Troopers, Wild Things, The World Is Not Enough, and Valentine, among others.

Denise is the daughter of Joni and Irv Richards. Her family surname was originally Reichert. Her ancestry is German, French-Canadian, Irish, English, Welsh, and distant Dutch.

Several web sites have stated that Denise’s mother was of Croatian descent. This is not accurate.

Denise is married to Aaron Phypers. She has three children, including two with her former husband, actor Charlie Sheen.

Denise’s paternal grandfather was Irving Bernard Richards (the son of Theodore Reichert/Edward Richards and Theresa Cormier). Irving was born in Illinois. Theodore was born in Illinois, the son of Adam Reichert, a German immigrant, and of Frances Mary Breternitz/Preteinitz, who was born in Illinois, of German descent. Denise’s grandfather was born with the surname Reichert; the surname was later changed to Richards. Denise’s great-grandmother Theresa was also born in Illinois, the daughter of Albert Cormier, who was French-Canadian, and of Annie O’Neill, who was born in Illinois, to Irish parents.

Denise’s paternal grandmother was Dorothy M. Herron (the daughter of Fred Wesley Herron and Marguerite/Margaret A. Dando). Dorothy was born in Illinois. Fred was born in Illniois, the son of Simon Wesley Herron and Charlotte Lucretia Sperry, and was of mostly English ancestry, along with some distant Dutch roots. Marguerite was also born in Illinois, the daughter of Albert I. Dando and Margaret Loretta “Maggie” Broderick. Denise’s great-great-grandfather Albert’s parents, Meshack/Meshach Dando and Martha Swanborough, were born in Gloucester, England, and Aberystruth, Monmouthshire, Wales, respectively, while Denise’s great-great-grandmother Margaret’s parents, Richard Broderick and Mary Ann Gallagher, were Irish, with Richard being from Galway.

Denise’s maternal grandfather was James Donald Braden (the son of Robert Ernest Bradin and Rose Maude Baldwin). James was born in Michigan. Robert was the son of Robert F./Y. Bradin/Braden and Mary Welch. Rose was the daughter of Charles Albert “Bert” Baldwin and Lillian Viola Harris.

Denise’s maternal grandmother was Shirley Ann Kirkpatrick (the daughter of Mack/Mac Kirkpatrick and Florence Harriet Verta/Vietta/Vieta Parr). Shirley was born in Michigan. Mack was the son of Ephrim/Ephraim Kirkpatrick and Lydia Ida Graffins, who were from Pennsylvania. Florence was born in Canada, to English parents, James Parr and Mary Ann Cotterell.

Fuzzybear, why are you always trying to turn somebody into black?

    To BlackMON,

That’s what I heard, her ex charlie got mad and outed her, however I doubt she would ever admitted it.

    • dolphin says:

No. Black people are always trying to claim someone. So sad.

      • Fuzzybear says:

        @dolphin

What’s sad is you guys know nothing. Can you say for a fact that she has no recent heritage,or are you just talking? Now I’m not saying she does, but I do know it very possible

        • dolphin says:

She doesn’t. She said she was French and German on her twitter. Just because Charlie called her the N word in a phone message does not make her black. He called one of his white prostitutes that as well.

Let me school you on something.Saying your French and German doesn’t tell you everything.Lots of time when comes down to white peoples ethnic backgrounds, they don’t always tell the truth.Anything that’s non-white,tends to get left out. From what I’ve learned, when it comes down to your backgrounds. If it’s non-white,your on a(you don’t need to know basis)

I going to give examples, just so you don’t think I’m making things up.Now I did promise,I wouldn’t use old examples, but that was to another person.Anyhow, lets take this person here

All her life, she thought she was pure white. However she founds out when her father was dying, that he was a mixed blood creole(black and french),living his life as a white man.

Same thing for her.She finds out her father was half black, when he was dying. She didn’t tell anyone until she got old

            This old fart here,James Wastons:
            http://www-news.uchicago.edu/releases/07/images/070601.watson.jpg
Lived his whole life putting down black people, until his DNA test shown he was part black

Now just because your white on the outside, doesn’t tell the whole story. This man here(Rodrigo Hilbert Albertoni)
            http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IDR_vM2ihWM/S84MHzxvKVI/AAAAAAAAR30/KlXHi9AHKtw/s1600/2901hilbert.jpg
1/4 Afro-Brazilian,yet looks like a normal white man,on the outside

Now for a history lesson,French and Germany had so many black running through there, laying up with the white people,it’s a crying shame. It’s a proven fact that African soldiers and those white german women, were getting it on big time. Also a proven fact that (AA’s,Creoles, and Africans) were all over France, messing with white women. Also those French and German white men could leave those black woman alone;these are all facts.Look them up your self if you don’t believe me.Here’s an example,(theodor wonja michael,German)Look who he’s married to,had 4 children with woman:
            http://woyingi.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/photo-500565-m.jpg

What I’m saying is,just because your white on the outside, doesn’t mean that’s all there is to you. Also what your family might tell you, might not be the whole truth.

Also as far as the prostitutes, she might have been part black to.

One other thing, and please let this sink in,saying you have recent black heritage,is NOT and I repeat NOT calling you Black.Someone in your bloodline was,it’s not saying you are

          • dolphin says:

Those people said they have recent black heritage, though. The only reason people are saying Denise is part black is because Charlie called her the N word. That is a beyond stupid reason. Before, no one even cared about her heritage.

And this isn’t the 1940’s anymore. Hailee Steinfeld, the young actress who was nominated for an Oscar, said she has distant black and Filipino ancestry. No one was mad. Rebecca Hall and Kate Beckinsale have admitted to having distant non-white ancestry as well. No one cares.

However, there is a problem when you are FORCING someone to be part black, which is what you are doing with her. You have no proof, no evidence, and nothing whatsoever to claim this woman as black. Yet you still are!

So, until she says she is part black, I am not going to believe it. It’s absolutely stupid to just say someone is black because someone called her the N word, and that white prostitute Charlie was with wasn’t black either. People don’t go around saying, “Oh yeah! I’m 1/256th black!” He is actually KNOWN for spouting out racial slurs when he is upset. It doesn’t matter the race of the person.

Furthermore, a lot of Europeans have admixture. Who cares?

Quit trying to make everyone black.

          • fuzzybear says:

            To dolphin

You seem to have me confused with someone, who is incapable of formulating their own opinion, that I simply follow the crowd. For the record,I suspected Denise, when I first saw her in a movie called (Wild Things). This is long before she was with charlie. Now you bring up Hailee Steinfeld (btw I’m the one who posted her on here) Your words(has distant black and Filipino ancestry)so her Grandfather is Distant, lol. So I have distant white heritage(my grandfather was white)funny I thought that was recent. Now this is an Ethnicity site,so it obvious we care,an so do you since your on it.

Now this is what gets me,How am I forcing someone to be part black? If they are, then they are,no one force that on them but their family.

Your words(However, there is a problem when you are FORCING someone to be part black, which is what you are doing with her. You have no proof, no evidence, and nothing whatsoever to claim this woman as black. Yet you still are!):

Now if you go back and reread,I did no such thing,I said (I do know it very possible). However your guilty of the same thing, you just accused me of.You have no proof, no evidence, and nothing what so ever to claim she doesn’t have that heritage, yet here you go.

Now for some reason your not comprehending whats being written to you ,so I will repeat(saying you have recent black heritage,is NOT and I repeat NOT calling you Black.Someone in your bloodline was,it’s not saying you are)

Now you may believe what you wish, but now your speaking Charlie, and you now know the prostitute ethnic background?I’m impress.

Your words(Furthermore, a lot of Europeans have admixture. Who cares?)It obvious you care, for the fact it bothers you so much. Also please don’t try to say it doesn’t,because everything your saying proves otherwise. Also I written this before, the average European is 3-8% African heritage, that’s within the last 120-150yrs.That mean a whole lot of europeans, this is what experts say,not me.So if you don’t like it,what can I say.

Your words(Quit trying to make everyone black)
Did you read this out loud to yourself?Because if you had,you would see how silly that sounds.I don’t have that power,Even if I did,I wouldn’t do it.It wouldn’t work, history has shown that even when we look alike,we still fight,so what would be the point.

Let me repeat this one more time:
(SAYING YOU HAVE RECENT BLACK HERITAGE,IS NOT and I REPEAT NOT CALLING YOU BLACK.Someone in your bloodline was,it’s not saying you are)

It’s so funny, that it scares white people so much that they might have some recent black heritage, well actually it’s really sad

          • dolphin says:

            Reasonable.

But you still have not shown any proof that she is part black.

          • dolphin says:

I said Hailee has distant black and Filipino ancestry because I did not know that one of her grandparents were fully black or Filipino.

Furthermore, how am I doing the same thing as you? Denise stated her ancestry. She could be lying, but until you have proof that she is, your claims are mere speculation.

And I am not particularly upset, just annoyed. I cannot go to an actor’s page without you claiming that they are part black. I am not a white person who is scared of recent black heritage. I am black myself. It is just irritating seeing some black people always force-feeding that “african bloodline” down everyone’s throat, especially when the non-black person is attractive or successful.

Yes, in theory, you could argue that everyone is part black since we all came from Africa, but you never stop.

          • fuzzybear says:

            To dolphin

Now please reread the comments I wrote on here.Your annoyance towards me is causing you to see statements I didn’t make.I never said she was part black,or that I was out to prove it.I said
            1. that’s what I heard
            2.that I know it’s very possible
3.Also that I suspected her long before Charlie was in the picture
These are the statements I made

Again how am I force-feeding people anything,I can’t help it those celebs have that bloodline in them,I didn’t put it there;I think it’s cool.Just the same way you think Vince Vaughn having Lebanese heritage is cool.Should I be mad at the person who brought that up?Or like when they put celebs with (Italian,Spanish heritages)People put European Heritage up here all the time, but I mention that they also have black heritage,I done a bad thing;Bad Fuzzybear. It shocks me that black people can have white heritage left and right, but I say a white person has black blood,I’m evil.

Also your words(force-feeding that “African bloodline” down everyone’s throat, especially when the non-black person is attractive or successful.

Are you serious?I can’t simply bring it up because it’s part of their heritage,I have to have a master plan. let me guess,to make our fellow black people feel better about themselves right;OK YOU CAUGHT ME
I can’t help that I give facts about this country or any country.I know the history of these countries.I can’t help if I tell people full heritage.I tell anyone if I’m saying something wrong show me.So until then.I refuse to dumb myself down,to make people happy. So if I’m a bad guy for that, hey so be it.

Your words(Yes, in theory, you could argue that everyone is part black since we all came from Africa)

Give me a little credit, when I said heritage,I meant recent;not ancient.Which is what I always say,if you reread any of my comments

          • dolphin says:

Fuzzybear, I apologize. I was not reading your statements correctly, and you are right. I overreacted. You said it was possible, and I overlooked that. However, I have witnessed some black people claiming nearly everyone as black. I guess that is where the rage came from. It makes it sound as if they will not be proud unless some white person is apart of them, so sorry, I took my annoyance of them out on you.
