Demi is the daughter of Beverley/Beverly Virginia (King) and Charles Foster Harmon, a U.S. Air Force airman. Her father had left Demi’s mother before Demi was born. Demi was raised by her mother and stepfather, Dan Guynes, a newspaper advertising salesman. The family moved frequently. Demi has three children with her former husband, actor Bruce Willis, including actress Rumer Willis. Her surname is from her first husband, musician Freddy Moore.

I read her claims of her mother is part Cherokee from AR from an ancestor named Elizabeth “LNU” (Lineage Not Useful), as well her step-father was Puerto Rican in her autobiography and her biological father was thought to be Filipino or Tejano Mexican descent (is it speculation or promotion of her career). All I read was she’s 100% “WASP”, esp. she wasn’t in close contact with her biological father/’s family.

Unless she has ancestors (evidently not) from Jamaica/West Indies, that’s unlikely for her to be part Sephardi Jewish.
Her stepfather is from Puerto Rico (correct)…and someone found her ancestor Elizabeth’s last name Childers, although Margaret LNU is her mother and appears to married a man with the surname Childers in Johnson county in Arkansas. It’s incredible how many people you find in family trees carrying Hebrew first names.

You need to go to England. Her looks are classic Anglo-Saxon. Punto e basta. Why does everyone posting think because an individual have dark hair (long and straight) they’re not English? It’s a hallmark of Anglo-Saxons (not Celts!) but Anglo-Saxons.

Contacts between Iceland and Ireland/Scotland are known (in language and genetics).
Oh, it was via Northern Ireland. I don’t tend to look that far into the family tree when an ancestor was born outside of the U.S.

Both Irish and Scottish don’t have much Continental Celtic ancestry. Although what people think is Celtic is more likely indigenous to the Isles i.e. like Druidism and Irish and Welsh literature. This is because the Continental Celts have not left much behind. With genetics however it is known now that Southeast England has more Celtic blood from the French and it is from the English this French IA blood went to Ireland and Scotland.
