Curtis Armstrong is an American actor. His roles include Revenge of the Nerds (1984).

Curtis is the son of Norma and Robert Armstrong. He is married to Elaine Aronson, with whom he has a daughter. He was raised Catholic, and converted to Elaine’s Jewish religion.

Curtis’ paternal grandfather was LeRoy James Armstrong (the son of James Henry Armstrong and Jennie Johnson). LeRoy was born in New York. Jennie was the daughter of Edward Johnson, who was Swedish, and of Augusta Wilkie, who was German.

Curtis’ paternal grandmother was Dorothy Jane Weekes (the daughter of George Ogle Weekes and Ivy Mabel Carss Hutton). Dorothy was born in Canada. George was the son of Edward Fullerton Weekes and Mary Jane McCauley. Ivy was the daughter of Henry Wilkinson Hutton and Lucy Ann Carss.

Curtis’ maternal grandfather was Ovidio D’Amico (the son of Antonio D’Amico and Ersilia Belli). Ovidio was an Italian emigrant, from Alfedena, L’Aquila, Abruzzo.

Curtis’ maternal grandmother was Ida DeCesare (the daughter of Giovanni DeCesare and Antonetta Massa). Ida was born in Massachusetts, to Italian parents.
