Cindy Walker was an American country music singer, songwriter, and dancer. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1997.
Cindy was the daughter of Mary Ella Oree (Eiland), a pianist, and Aubrey Archibald Walker.
Cindy’s paternal grandfather was Thomas Quinn Walker (the son of John Jefferson Walker and Elizabeth Jane Quinn). John was born in Alabama, the son of Green Basil Walker and Susannah A. Green. Elizabeth was born in Mississippi, the daughter of Oliver Quinn and Elizabeth Ann Weeks.
