    Guys guys guys! I am cuban, chinese, and african american! The cuban blood I come from has darker skin so may appear “black” to ignorant pple who have to get all tech. About race… she is cuban. There’s no “white cuban” “latin cuban” or “black cuban” american pple are the ONLY pple who have to catigorize everything. Mel C (scary spice) is not considered “a black british woman” she is just “british!” American pple… stop it! I do not consider myself being just african american and chinese because my cuban decent is “dark” I am cuban. I am chinese. And I am african american. 1/3 of each. I agree there’s nothing wrong w/ being black but if u have more than one nationality why does black always have to be the 1 u choose? Ppl are really ignorant. Thank u 4 reading. Cuban is cuban…

      well “ignorant” is lack of knowledge towards a certain subject.
      race does not exist, but just letting you know… there were native cubans, europeans and african slaves that all mixed up and created a melting pot, lived there long enough, and decided to call themselves cuban.. but lets be real, if you arent a Cuban native(before the europeans and african slaves) then you are not a cubano… im sorry, if you look black, you are black… point blank, period… thats the way the world sees it, ignorant or not… it will never change.. think you can go into a group of KKK affiliates and say “spare me, im not black, im cuban” they dont care… and neither does the world, your still a n**** to them.. why do people hate being black? im light skinned, mixed with black and puerto rican, along with a considerable amount of native american, with a bit of irish… but do people care about that? nah, im still a n****… and i will be happy with the way God made me… regardless of what anybody thinks…

      Those are nationalities not a race whether you like it or not there are such thing as RACE in the world. How could every country have a race except for cuba? Your not making any sense. There are all kinds of whites, asians and brown people with different cultures. It’s like me saying “NO I’M NOT BLACK I’M CANADIAN” i’m a canadian but i’m black i’m an afro-canadian. My sister’s boyfriend is from dominican republic and he has brown skin like me and also Milian and i asked him what he considers himself and he says he’s afro dominican.

        @liyah

        Idk if I could go with you on the race thing.To me it’s more of a different ethnicity.You have to be isolated,and we really haven’t.People have really never stayed away from each other long enough.Also where would it stop,you would have sub-race of this race.A sub-race of a sub-race,and on and on;where would it stop.Then you have people who are mixed,with any number of different groups,and no one is really mixed the same.You have all these different colors of skin,always popping up,but can still interbreed easily.Even when we are supposed to have been split from Native Americans for thousands of years,there was still no problem with interbreeding.So I do understand what your saying that people aren’t being specific enough(usually on purpose),but I just can’t go with you on the race thing

      What is up with people acting like race is not there, i agree it SHOULDN’T MADDER but IT’s VISIBLE. I was watching a documentary about cuba and their races and how there are discrimination done to those who are darker with different features than those who look more european and light skin. The darker people who they interview where saying they are being discriminated against because they’re BLACK.

        To liyah

        People make skin color and other difference and issue.Even if you looked the same,people would find something to fight about.People are sheep,they follow the leader.Like what’s said,you could put 12 people in a room who are all the same,and I guarantee they will find something to hate about each other;or just one person.

        Now that’s the way their taught,that to be black is inferior.I mean this has been the thing for the past 500yrs.Spaniards and Portuguese were out for revenge.They were told that blacks were infidels(well I want get into what blacks he was referring to).Now this mind set has been engraved into the people;to be white or light is better .This has been the mindset all over the world.Before it was light or white skin,that was seen as unwanted.Whites were seen as stringy haired,pale skin,pot belly beast;this is what the Arabs thought of them.Other groups saw them as evil,where do you think the phrase (white skin devil)came from.SO to change that image,they reverse it,and now black is evil;Inferior and stupid.Now you have children teaching children this generations after generation not to take pride in that part of their heritage.Look at J Edgar hoover,a light skin black man(outed by his own family),hated his black blood so much,that he did anything he could to hurt black people.Even my own grandmother(half white)hated dark skin people for some unknown reason.
