She’s Cuban (Period). There are also lots of people in Cuba who look “Chinese” Bcuz their ancestors were Chinese, but they are 8th, 9th, & 10th Generation Cuban. Just like Americans, technically the only “Real Americans” are the indians. (By the way, America is not a Country, It’s a continent, U.S. is a country). So, at what point is a person considered to be a Cuban, American, Mexican, or whatever it is that they are, if everyone has descended from somewhere else..?? We are all a product of the culture that surrounds us, “our” present, not our great grand parent’s past.

But remember Cuba isnt an English speaking country like England New Zealand or the USA. Blacks who live in Cuba grow up in a latin culture, therefore they speak Spanish and have a latin mentality. Therefore her parents are of course latino and Milian is Hispanic American.

When I read that she was Afro Cuban a while back, I was wondering what did that mean. That means that Christina Milian parents are Africans/black who lived in CUba! LOL Just like Black people who live in London, or New Zealand, or Canada! That doesn’t mean she’s spanish! She does look black and spanish though, not black and white. That’s what I don’t get! Pitbull is Cuban and he looks like the typical spanish/latino, not white, definitely not asian, and really not black. That’s why I really do believe that there had to be a “Latin” race! I think whoever classified the three races, Negroid, Caucasian, Mongoid… didn’t trace back far enough and just said that spanish people were either white, black, or mixed. If that’s the case, why are their features so distinct? Bi Racial black and white people here don’t look like the “mixed” black and whites in the spanish speaking countries… of course you have someone who is mixed who could look like another race, but I’m talking about the majority of the group. Anyway, she’s black but has some mixed heritage.
