Theodore was from Hushtyn, Ukraine. His kids have Ukrainian names like Dmytro. I’m pretty sure they were Ukrainian (like everybody in Canada with the last name Dziadyk).

Carly Rae Jepsen is Polish (Catholic I believe). Evelyn Allen, her paternal grandmother was the daughter of Ken Allen and Rose Dziadyk (1915-1987). Rose was the daughter of Theodore Fred Dziadyk and Annie Rusmavich. Theodore (1863-1945) was born in Poland and died in Canada. Annie was born in Galicia. Carly is at least 1/16th Polish. I think Annie was also of ethnic Polish ancestry, if that’s the case Carly is 1/8th. Sincerely bearboy/jackson9

I don’t know. I have a feeling they might be Ukrainian.

      • jackson9 says:

Strangely enough it looks like Theodore Fred Dziadyk, the ancestor I was talking about born in Poland who could have been ethnically Ukrainian was most likely the son of David Dziadyk and Mary Malenka Oglenskii. David at least was born in Austria.

She clearly does have Eskimo Canadian genes.

  4. Manila says:

I am not sure if Arnie was the son of Axel Jepsen and Elvera Christensen: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FL1V-Q39

The informant is seemed to be him (A. Jepsen).

But, I have a clue that Arnie was probably born in Carlisle, Saskatchewan through his brother, Carl Axel: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/vancouversun/obituary.aspx?n=carl-axel-jepsen&pid=14730524&fhid=5856

    Let’s figure it out.

I can’t find anything more than that. Have you found Fergie’s Mexican ancestry yet? (kidding).

      • jackson9 says:

Manila is right…. Axel Jepsen 1898 (Arhus, Denmark) and Lydia Elvira Christensen (1911-1995) born also in Denmark were in fact Arnie Jepsen’s parents. Axel was the son of Hans Jepsen and Karen Sorine Moller. Lydia was the daughter of Christian Christensen and Mette Nielsen.
