Bobby Charlton is an English professional footballer. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time. Bobby is the son of Elizabeth Ellen “Cissie” (Milburn) and Robert Wallace “Bob” Charlton. He is married to Norma Ball, with whom he has two children.
Bobby is the brother of footballer Jack Charlton, and the nephew of footballers Jack Milburn, George Milburn, Jim Milburn, and Stan Milburn, as well as a first cousin, once removed, of legendary footballer Jackie Milburn.
Bobby’s paternal grandfather was Charles Brooker Charlton (the son of Robert Charlton and Elizabeth Brooker). Elizabeth was the daughter of Daniel Brooker.
Bobby’s paternal grandmother was named Mary Ann Neesam.
