Billy is the son of Georgia Ann/Georgann and Thomas Henry Crudup III. Billy is married to English-Australian actress Naomi Watts. He has a son with his former partner, actress Mary-Louise Parker.
Billy’s paternal great-great-great-grandfather, Josiah Crudup, was a U.S. Congressman from North Carolina, from 1821 to 1823.

He does not have Spanish ancestry.

He is not exotic looking by any means for his background.
His brother Tommy Crudrup is somewhat atypical. If his name was Tomás Cruz De La Vega (by random) nobody would have questioned.
