Bill Berry is an American musician and multi-instrumentalist. He is the drummer for alternative rock band R.E.M. Other members of the band are Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe.

Bill is the son of Anna Jane and Donald Naphtali Berry. Bill has a son with his partner Cybele.

Bill’s paternal grandfather was James Willard Berry (the son of Napthali Luccock Berry and Mary Jane Atkinson).
