His roles include the shows That ’70s Show, Two and a Half Men, and The Ranch, and the films Coming Soon, Down to You, Dude, Where’s My Car?, Texas Rangers, Just Married, My Boss’s Daughter, Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Butterfly Effect, Guess Who, A Lot Like Love, The Guardian (2006), Open Season, in voice role; Bobby, What Happens in Vegas, Spread, Personal Effects, Brother’s Justice, Valentine’s Day, Killers (2010), No Strings Attached, New Year’s Eve (2011), Jobs, Vengeance (2022), and Your Place or Mine. He also co-created and hosted the show Punk’d. He co-founded venture capital firm A-Grade Investments, and later Sound Ventures.

Ashton is the son of Diane (Finnegan), a Procter & Gamble employee, and Larry Kutcher, a factory worker. His father is of Bohemian Czech descent. His mother is of one half Irish, one quarter German, including Swiss-German, and one quarter Bohemian Czech, ancestry. He is married to actress Mila Kunis, with whom he has two children.

Ashton is a practicing follower of Kabbalah, the Jewish religious mysticism. His wife Mila, who is Jewish, has said of him, “Ashton when we started dating, [was] very religious, very religious, very Jewish,” though he has not formally converted to Judaism.

Ashton’s paternal grandfather was Earl F. Kutcher (the son of Michael John “Mike” Kutcher and Alice Beth Sedlacek). Earl was born in Iowa. Michael was born in Iowa, the son of Czech parents, Jan “John” Kučera and Anna Lenoč/Lenoch. The surname Kucera was later changed to Kutcher. Alice was also born in Iowa, the daughter of František “Frank” Sedláček and Anna Novotny, who were also Czech.

Ashton’s paternal grandmother was Adeline Mary Fisher (the daughter of Frank Fisher and Frances “Fannie” Drtina). Adeline was born in Iowa, and was also of Bohemian (Czech) descent. Frank was the son of Joseph Fisher and Anne Drtina.

Ashton’s maternal grandfather was Vincent Raymond Finnegan (the son of John Edward Finnegan, Sr. and Ellen Lenaghan). Vincent was born in Keokuk County, Iowa. John was from Lisnagore, County Monaghan, Ireland, the son of Michael Finnegan and Anne Mary Maguire. Ellen was also Irish, born in Lisnagore, Killeevan, Newbliss, County Monaghan, the daughter of Terence Lenaghan and Bridget Connolly.

Ashton’s maternal grandmother is Rose Marie Koenighain (the daughter of Donald Jacob Koenighain and Leona Alice Kutcher). Rose was born in Iowa. Donald’s parents, Mathias Koenighain and Ida Mae Brent/Brant, were both of German descent. Their families had lived in the United States, including specifically Pennsylvania, for many generations, and some of their ancestry was Swiss-German. Leona was the daughter of Czech parents, Michael John Kutcher and Alice Beth Sedlacek.

Ashton’s paternal grandfather Earl F. Kutcher was the brother of Ashton’s maternal great-grandmother Leona Alice Kutcher. Thus, Ashton’s parents are first cousins, once removed.

@follers, yes, but all of his great-grandparents (except Irish) were from ”catholic” countries, which are very strongly influenced by protestantism. All of ”catholic” Europe, except Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Malta, Central & Southern Spain and Central & Souther Italy are so stronlgy influenced by protestantism, that in fact they are practically protestant. That’s why Northern Spain and Northern Italy are rich, and southern parts of these countries are poor like Portugal and Malta. Because crises stopped recovery of Poland of communism, Poland is still very poor country, but after the crisis ends, Poland will become like Portugal and Malta. It wouldn’t get richer, if they stay catholic. But they wouldn’t stay catholic, because the future of the world is countries with crappy religions to change it with high-quality and high-effective religions, like Protestantism. Of mentioned catholic countries only Ireland is rich (though not stable), but they are exeption, because of the enormous amount of the American insvestments in the country. For example before a few decades (when Ireland was poor) many American corporations like Microsoft moved there headquarters in Ireland, because of then cheap labor force and young, educated, qualified and english-speaking population (as we all know english language is known to be native to Ireland, although in fact it’s not, since it’s import from England at the times of English Conquest Of Ireland). Irish Economic Miracle, or ”Irish Tiger” happened namely due to these enormous amount of American investments. But before that many many irish people emigrated to the U.S to escape from poverty in Ireland. That’s why Irish ancestry is the second most common ancestry of white Americans, after German. Germany allways was, is and allways will be very rich country, as it is not only a protestant country, but cradle of Protestantism, but is a country with huge population, that’s why in absolute values so many Germans emigrated to the U.S. But for sure german emigrants to the U.S (and not only to the U.S) are much smaller percent of German population, than Irish emigrants to the Irish population, and Sicilian/(Southern & Central) Italian emigrants to the Italian population.

As a Northern German atheist (of protestant background) in the catholic Southern Germany I can tell you that the German catholics are far from becoming protestants …

Well, at least 7 out of Ashton’s 8 great-grandparents were Catholic.
