Artie’s paternal grandmother was Elizabeth T. Emm (the daughter of Istvan/Stephen Emm and Anna Pfeiffer). Elizabeth was born in Newark, New Jersey, to Hungarian parents, who had Banat Swabian ancestry. Istvan was the son of John Emm and Carolina Kubicsck. Anna was the daughter of Michael Pfeiffer.
Artie’s maternal grandfather was Salvatore “Sal” Caprio (the son of Gaetano Caprio and Julia Miele). Sal was born in New Jersey.
