    • Anonymous101 says:

Well if you know any white arabs they’re not arabs plain and simple. Arabs are not white. Lebanese, Syrians, North Africans, etc are not Arabs. The Gulf Arabs from Saudi Arabia,Oman,Yemen, etc are the real Arabs and they are not white.

Not sure if this is too late but being Arab (white) from Palestine I know a little more than the average person on this subject. My ancestors are from the biblical people who lived in Palestine with some ancient Arab ethnic ancestry from the Islamic expansion. I also have European ancestry from the Crusaders. Many chose to remain in the holy land. Arab is a difficult descriptive word. There are many descriptive types of Arabs. There are the ancient Arabs, those from a number of tribes that died out. There are the Pure Arabs (heritage 100%) from the original source of tribes, culture…. These are Yemeni definitely and gulf Arabs. There are Arabised Arabs. When the Islamic expansion occurred these are groups who over time their cultures changed to become more Arabic most notably in their language. Egypt is a great example. They are mostly 100% descended from the Ancient Egyptians. There are also those who are descended from a mixture of original ethnic Arabs and Arabised Arabs. All in all this occurred over a millennia ago and though we may be consciously aware of our varying ancestries it isn’t a negative thing. Maybe in the last 60 years since we were split into all these different countries it may be becoming a point of contention between political opportunists. But like Americans whose ancestors originate from different ethnic groups but as the decades pass their cultures become intertwined and they become 1, especially as their children intermarry and give birth to the next generation who have multiple ethnic origins, so is the story of who todays Arabs are. Any person from any background who moves to an Arab country and takes on the culture and language and raises their children in that way would be considered an Arab.

    Berbers and moors hate arabs

    • fzh says:

True and not true. There may be a lot of contention between the two groups but hate is a strong word for it. I can’t say the attitude of the ruling elites in north Africa have done anything to improve this situation but be have lived together successfully for over 1000 years. My family are Palestinian and live in England. We have a number of Algerian friends. Some are whiter Arabs from the North and others are Berbers from the South. We met them as a group who were friends with each other. There maybe political divisions because of scum bag political opportunists but we have a history of working together and a solid foundation to continue doing so successfully. A great example is the fact that we built an empire together not apart.
