Anthony Edwards is an American professional basketball player. A shooting guard, he plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also co-starred in the film Hustle (2022). He is nicknamed “Ant-Man” and “Ant.” He is 6′4″.

Anthony is the son of Chrisha Yvette Edwards and Roger Caruth. After his mother’s death when he was a teenager, he was raised by his brother and sister. As a high school senior, Anthony received McDonald’s All-American and USA Today All-USA first team honors. At college, he was named SEC Freshman of the Year.

Anthony’s grandmother was named Shirley.
