Ana Kasparian is an American political commentator, media host, and journalist. She is a host and producer of news and commentary program The Young Turks. She previously hosted the shows The Point and Weekends with Ana Kasparian and Nando Vila.

Her parents, Zabel (Ayvazyan) and Misak Kirakos Kasparian, are of Armenian descent. Her great-grandparents survived the Armenian Genocide in 1915. She was raised in Reseda, Los Angeles. She is married to Minor League Baseball player, model, and actor Christian Lopez.

    I think Ana’s father may have been Syrian or of Syrian descent.
