Albert II, Prince of Monaco, is the reigning monarch of the Principality of Monaco. He is the son of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly. His siblings are Caroline, Princess of Hanover and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. His uncle, John B. Kelly, Jr., was an Olympic rower, as was his maternal grandfather, John Brendan “Jack” Kelly, who had won three Olympic gold medals.

Albert II is married to Charlene, Princess of Monaco (born Charlene Lynette Wittstock). He has four children: Jazmin Grace Grimaldi; Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste; and two with Charlene.

Albert II’s maternal grandmother was Margaret Katherine Majer (the daughter of Carl Majer/Maier and Margaretha Berg).       He has Martinique-born and Haiti-born ancestors of French descent. His Belgian ancestry includes both Walloon and Flemish. He has no ancestors from Monaco (whose parents weren’t from somewhere else). His great-grandmother was born in Mexico, of Spanish descent (I don’t know if it should make him “Spanish-Mexican” or not).
