Alan Faneca is an professional American football player. He was a guard in the National Football League (NFL).

Alan is the son of Liane and Alan Faneca. He is married to Julie Kuchta, with whom he has three children.

Alan’s paternal grandfather was John Peter Faneca (the son of Peter Joseph Faneca and Viola Josephine Kounzelman). Alan’s grandfather John was born in Louisiana. Alan’s great-grandfather Peter was the son of Juan/John Peter Faneca, who was born in Catalonia, Spain, and of Maria/Mary Anne Lenhardt/Linhart, who was born in France.
