The couple (Jane’s presumed parents) in that obituary, Michael and Cynthia Elliott, lives in Germantown, Maryland.

In case these are the correct people, I’ll leave this here for the future.

      Possible paternal grandparents:

Thomas W. Bendix Elliott (the son of William J. Elliott and Edith McElroy). William was likely the son of George W. Elliott and Mary Wilson, whose parents were English. Edith was the daughter of Robert McElroy, who was Irish, and of Margaret Everett.

Margaret J. Lynch (the daughter of Edward V. Lynch and Henrietta Acker). Edward was the son of Irish parents.

On his website’s message board back in the day, Jane said he has a small amount of German Jewish ancestry.
