He is the son of Lotta Kristine Johanna, a prominent CIO, and Ulf Christian Kjellberg, a corporate executive. He is married to Italian internet personality Marzia Kjellberg (CutiePieMarzia), with whom he has a son. The couple lives in Japan.

PewDiePie’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced to his fourth great-grandfather, Jonas Larsson (1 January, 1806 – 18 May, 1850, Västerlanda, Västra Götaland).

PewDiePie’s paternal grandfather was Leif Lennart Kjellberg (the son of Jakob Karl Georg Kjellberg and Göta Henrietta Eriksson). Leif was born in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg. Jakob was the son of Karl Hjalmar Kjellberg and Annie Alida Larsson. Göta was the daughter of John Leonard Eriksson and Elin Charlotta Lundgren.

PewDiePie’s paternal grandmother is Ulla Dahl (the daughter of Hugo Vilhelm, later Wilhelm, Dahl and Anna Holmberg). Ulla was born in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg.
