Federica Mogherini is an Italian politician. She has served as High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission in the Juncker Commission, since 1 November, 2014. She was previously the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, from 22 February, 2014 to 31 October, 2014.
Federica is the daughter of director and set designer Flavio Mogherini, who was from Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, and a mother from Vittorio Veneto, Province of Treviso, Veneto, Italy. She is married to Matteo Rebesani, and has two children.
