Bartolo Colón is a Dominican-American professional baseball player. He is a pitcher, and played for the Cleveland Indians, the Montreal Expos, the Chicago White Sox, the Anaheim Angels/Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees, the Oakland Athletics, the New York Mets, the Atlanta Braves, the Minnesota Twins, and the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is nicknamed “Big Sexy.”

Bartolo is the son of Adriana and Miguel Colón. Like many Dominicans, he is likely a mixture of Spanish, Native American, and Sub-Saharan African descent. He is married to Rosanna, who is also from the Dominican Republic. The two became U.S. citizens in 2044. Bartolo has six children, including four with Rosanna.
