Anthony Head is an English actor and singer. He is known for his role as Rupert Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and has also appeared in the films Lady Chatterley’s Lover (1981), I’ll Be There, Imagine Me & You, The Magic Door, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Iron Lady, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, A Street Cat Named Bob, and Let the Wrong One In, and the shows Little Britain, Merlin, and Ted Lasso, among other works.
Anthony is the son of Helen Shingler, an actress, and Seafield Laurence Stewart Murray Head, a documentary filmmaker, and founder of Verity Films, a documentary production company. His older brother, Murray Head, is an actor and singer. He has two children, actresses Emily Head and Daisy Head, with his partner Sarah Fisher.
