Yvonne De Carlo was a Canadian-American actress, dancer, and singer.

Yvonne was the daughter of Marie De Carlo and William Shelto Middleton. Her father was from New Zealand. Her mother was born in France, to a Sicilian father and a Scottish mother, who had met in Nice and later moved to Canada. Yvonne began working in Hollywood in the 1940s.

Yvonne had two children with her former husband, stuntman Robert Drew Morgan.

Yvonne’s maternal grandfather was named Michel/Michele De Carlo/DeCarlo. Michele was born in Messina, Sicily.
