If you had done your History lessons well you would have known that Catherine 1 of Russia was a predecessor of Catherine the Great. Catherine the Great married her grandson Peter III. Also Catherine 1 was of Polish blood – her father’s. He lived in Lithuania but was of Polish ethnicity. You know little better study up if you are going to berate people who know what they are talking about.
You are correct, Skowonski was Polish and lived in Lithuania (at least for a time). Her mother was either Swedish or German or both. :)
