Ursula Rucker is an American poet, spoken word artist, and activist. She is known for her collaborations with hip-hop band The Roots.

She is the daughter of Palmina and George Washington Rucker III. Her father was born in Virginia. Her mother was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Italian parents. She has four children.

Ursula’s paternal grandfather was George Washington Rucker, Jr. (the son of George Washington Rucker and Edna Cofflin). Ursula’s grandfather George was born in Virginia.

    I’m pretty sure this is not what I submitted. Domenico Giangiordano/Giordano and Maria Orsini were born in 1864 and 1865 respectively. They are her great-grandparents. Her maternal grandparents are Angelo Zampirri and Rosa Maria/Rose Marie Giangiordano/Giordano.
