She stated on her Twitter account that she is “Jamaican, Puerto Rican, Irish, & German.” In and interview on Z90 with Tre, she stated “My dad is Jamaican/Puerto Rican and my mum is Irish and German.” She has also said that she loves to learn about different cultures, and has been to Puerto Rico and Ireland, but still has not been to Jamaica and Germany.

I just posted a picture of her dad. He looks mostly European with native and maybe little African admiture but its not easy to tell. He looks a lot like a lot of Puerto ricans.

@cmw85 Most Puerto Ricans have dna tested in the 20% to 50% black subsaharan West African range then her Dad is black Jamaican too. Thats a significant amount of African . Also you cannot go by skin tone. Skin tone has proven to be the least determinant of African admixture. There are dark skin blacks more mixed than light skin blacks ie. Chris Rock dark skinned Comediene tested more white admixed than supermodel light skin green eyed Tyra Banks. Puerto Rican is not a race. Truthfully this girl could be as high as 30 to 40 % subsaharan black African IMHO. Or like you said she could also be 20 %to 25% subsaharan black African.

She’s pretty much white. Her dad looks more spanish and native descent with low African admixture. He maybe 20 percent at most but looking at him. His complexion is a little darker than mine. His is a very light brown or tan complexion with curly hair but not kinky or wooly. Curly straight hair.
She don’t look really black because Taino Puerto Rican genes are pretty strong and her mother is pure white. Mixed women are so beautiful. There is mixed Jamaicans in Jamaica.
@abracci, it has been proven that MOST puerto ricans are just African and White, light skinned mulattos because the Taino Indians died out very early before slavery. You can look it up. Many Puerto Ricans exxagerate the Taino Indian to get rid of the African label.
all the 23andme results for puerto ricans I’ve seen have native ancestry in 5-20% range. some even had more native than african.
@bablah I have traveled to Puerto Rico and there are actual black Puerto Ricans too living there. Ive seen some really black dark skinned Puerto Ricans with kinky hair.
